CYFOR Secure Partners with Pinsent Masons to Support IWF’s Mission to Combat Online Child Sexual Abuse
In our increasingly digital society, the abuse and exploitation of children online is a pressing concern. Addressing this critical issue is not just important, it’s imperative. That’s where the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) comes in. Leading the charge against online child sexual abuse material, the IWF is dedicated to creating a safer digital environment for everyone.
At the CYFOR Group, we stand firmly behind the IWF’s mission. We are committed to supporting their tireless efforts and are actively working to contribute to this vital cause. Together, we aim to strive to build a digital space where children can navigate safely and with protection.

By teaming up with Pinsent Masons, CYFOR are not just supporting the IWF’s crucial mission; we are also highlighting the urgent need for action. In 2022, the IWF assessed a webpage every 90 seconds, revealing the vast scope of their work. This challenge aims to raise critical funds and increase awareness about the IWF’s ongoing efforts.
Throughout the campaign, our team will use Strava to track various forms of exercise, including cycling, swimming, running, and walking. Our goal is to log the highest number of exercise minutes over the month. With participation from across the entire CYFOR Group, we are committed to supporting this significant cause and raising as much as possible for the IWF’s mission.

“All the teams combined raised £11,120 with a donation to the winning team from Pinsent Masons of £5,000, making a total of £16,120. The significance of these efforts cannot be overstated. A mere £50 could prevent the sharing or uploading of abusive images, while £100 could issue crucial Takedown Notices, shielding victims from repeat victimisation online. As the fundraising milestones increase, so does the potential for transformative change, from providing essential support to analysts to funding breakthroughs in combatting online threats.”
